2. Are fat tyre e-bikes hard to ride?
Not at all. The wide tyres provide more balance and control, making them beginner-friendly. Combined with electric assist, they're smooth and effortless to ride, even on challenging surfaces.
3. How far can I go on a single charge?
Depending on your battery size, riding style and terrain, typically between 40-80km per charge. Our team can help you choose the right bike for your range needs.
4. Can I ride on the beach?
Absolutely. Fat tyre e-bikes are designed for soft surfaces like sand. Just remember to clean your bike afterwards to prevent salt corrosion.
5. Do I need a licence or registration?
Check your local state laws, as rules vary across Australia. In general, most states allow e-bikes with motors up to 250W and a maximum assisted speed of 25km/h without licence or registration on public roads. All our bikes can be speed-limited to comply with legal requirements, and we offer a throttle isolator option if needed. On private property, licensing and registration are not required.
6. How long does the battery last?
Typically 2-5 years with regular use - around 500-1,000 charge cycles. We offer battery diagnostics and care to extend your battery's lifespan.
7. Are they waterproof?
Water-resistant: safe in light rain and splashes, but not fully waterproof. Avoid deep puddles and never wash the motor or battery with high-pressure water.
8. How often should I service my e-bike?
Every 6 months or 1,000km, whichever comes first. Regular maintenance prevents costly repairs and keeps your e-bike running safely. Book a service with us anytime.
9. Can I carry passengers or cargo?
Some models support cargo racks or child seats. Check your bike's load rating, or ask our team for help setting it up safely.
